Ever fancied having a go at Blacksmithing? Why not give it a go on this one-day introduction course! The process of forging metal is fun, fascinating and should be enjoyed by everyone (albeit pretty hard work!!) Course bookings & gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. 1 person booking - £220 2 person booking - £150 each 3 person booking - £130 each Come and learn some of the skills of the Blacksmith and make a pair of beautifully hand forged bowls! You'll be demonstrated all of the techniques first and will be guided through the process of using hand tools, the power hammer & fly press. Leaving with your handiwork after a hard but fun & satisfying days work! What's included? - All materials needed to make two hand forged bowls per person. All necessary PPE. Tea, coffee & water provided throughout the day. Lunch is NOT included, please bring your own. Arrive at 9:45am and please remember some lunch and suitable clothes, If you google 'Hedge Ironworks' you can just click on directions using google maps (satnav is hit and miss). We finish around 2 - 3pm, Flexible booking subject to availability. Full payment required to book your place on the course via bacs transfer with a 25% non-refundable deposit.
